One-steps involve performing a prescribed set of techniques toward a partner in response to their attack. During this practice no physical contact to the body or head is made. This requires that both students know their distance, and also that they can deliver their technique with confidence and precision. One-steps is a great way to introduce technique and combinations that can later be used in sparring. |
